About Bilsmidigt

Bilsmidigt is a growing digital car dealer selling used cars throughout Sweden. Our customers can complete the entire car purchase online and have the car delivered directly to their door.

At our facility, several different departments work together to prepare the cars for sale and delivery. The work includes testing, workshop services, tire handling, reconditioning, photography, and logistics.

We are now looking for a tire technician who wants to become an important part of our production team. For the right person, there are also good opportunities for development within the company and, in the long run, to work with broader tasks.

About the role

As a tire technician, you are responsible for ensuring our cars have the correct wheels and tires before advertising, sale, and delivery. You work both independently and together with colleagues in the workshop, logistics, and car production.

The work is practical and sometimes physically demanding. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to work efficiently without compromising safety, quality, or precision.

Your main responsibilities

• Mounting and dismounting wheels and tires on passenger cars and transport vehicles
• Tire rotation and balancing
• Checking and adjusting tire pressure
• Inspecting tire condition, tread depth, and any damage
• Simple puncture repairs
• Washing, marking, and organizing wheels
• Loading, unloading, and moving tires
• Ensuring the correct wheels are mounted on the correct car
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Assisting with other common tasks within the workshop, logistics, and car production

We are looking for someone who

• Is practical-minded and enjoys working with cars
• Is meticulous, responsible, and safety-conscious
• Has good physical fitness and can handle repeated heavy lifting
• Can work efficiently both independently and in a team
• Has a positive attitude and helps out where needed
• Can handle a fast pace during intensive periods
• Is flexible and willing to learn new tasks
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Can communicate in Swedish or English

Previous experience with tire mounting, workshops, or the automotive industry is meritorious but not a requirement. For the right person, there is an opportunity to learn the job on the spot.
