Waila AB is looking for a Technical Consultant to develop renewable energy projects and biochar projects. The role involves close collaboration with customers, project stakeholders, and Waila's team to deliver high-quality technical consulting services.

About the Role

As a Technical Consultant, you will work on wind power and biochar projects from early site identification and site analysis to technical investigations and project development. The role combines technical analysis, customer contact, project coordination, and business support.

Responsibilities

• Site identification and technical analyses
• GIS analyses and management of geographic data.
• Production and analyses in WindPRO.
• Development and maintenance of tools in Excel and VBA.
• Preparation of technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Customer contact and stakeholder management.
• Support for project development, permitting processes, and consulting assignments.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within renewable energy and the biochar market.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, renewable energy, environmental science, geography, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in consulting, preferably within renewable energy, wind power, biochar production, or technical advisory.
• Experience with GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
• Experience with WindPRO is required.
• Good knowledge of Excel and VBA.
• Experience in customer contact and collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Language Requirements

English and Swedish

Travel

The position involves travel approximately 2–3 times per month within Sweden and occasionally within the Nordic region.
