About the role:

As a Purchasing Assistant at Gekås Ullared, focusing on apparel, bags, and shoes, you will play a key role in our purchasing team. Your responsibilities will include assisting the team with everything from order management and follow-ups to analysis. You will work closely with our buyers and help ensure that our product range remains current and attractive to our customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Order management and follow-up on deliveries
  • Item registration and price updates in our business system
  • Communication with suppliers, both nationally and internationally
  • Supporting buyers in their daily work
  • General administration

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with education and work experience in purchasing, fashion, or a related field. Additionally, you must have experience or documented knowledge of material science within the areas of apparel, bags, or shoes. You communicate well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing. As a person, you are analytical, have strong planning skills, and a keen eye for detail.

You thrive with varied tasks and are good at staying organized and prioritizing when things get busy. Having a sense, interest, and commitment to trends, retail, and business is a prerequisite for the role. We also value strong collaboration skills, as our entire organization operates under one roof, working in close cooperation with one another.
