Job Description

As a Track Technician in Gävle, you will be part of a team working with railway operations and maintenance, as well as some new construction. The role involves participating in track construction, rail and sleeper replacements, and the replacement of track components such as switch blades, crossings, and check rails, among other tasks.

You will become part of a cohesive work group where collaboration, responsibility, and job satisfaction are important parts of daily life. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with others, is unpretentious, and takes initiative in their work. The role offers varied tasks and a dynamic workday. Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening, night, and weekend work may occur. On-call duty may also be required.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Meets medical requirements for security clearance
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Further education in track technology
• Experience from the railway industry
• Category C driver's license
• License to operate track-bound vehicles
