At the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, our goal is to support patients in various ways to achieve a functional daily life. We work in multidisciplinary teams where psychologists participate in assessments and treatment interventions. If you want to work in a team with a strong sense of community and enjoy working together, our unit is the right place for you.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist (Leg. Psykolog) or a Psychologist with Specialist Training (PTP). Knowledge of the Cosmic system is an advantage. Experience with neuropsychological test instruments, multidisciplinary teamwork, assessments, and rehabilitation is also considered an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is communicative and has a good ability to build trusting relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You work flexibly and can adapt your working methods based on changing needs and conditions within the organization. Furthermore, you have a good holistic perspective and the ability to see the patient's total needs in a broader care context. You thrive in team settings and actively contribute to good collaboration and a positive work environment.

What you will work with

Do you want to work in an organization with breadth, a focus on development, and good opportunities to influence? Here, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you work with both assessment and rehabilitation for people with neurological diseases and injuries. The department is in a development phase where the cognitive program is being updated with a focus on both assessment and rehabilitation based on current evidence, meaning that as a psychologist, you will have an important and active role in this work.

The position includes, among other things, conducting neuropsychological and cognitive assessments, making traffic medical assessments, and investigating work capacity on behalf of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan). You will also assess patients' prerequisites for rehabilitation. The work primarily targets patients with neurological diseases and injuries, but interventions may also occur in areas such as chronic pain and stress.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team where you collaborate closely with other professions such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, doctors, and nurses. Teamwork is central and is based on each profession contributing its expertise to both assessment and rehabilitation interventions.

We actively work on the development and improvement of operations and see participation in development work as a natural part of the role. The Neuro Center also has a long-term investment in research and development, and since 2019, there has been a Research and Development Council working to collect, generate, and disseminate new knowledge in the field. As an employee, you are therefore given good opportunities to participate in both research and development work.

What we offer you

  • Experienced and engaged colleagues
  • Internal supervision
  • Development and career opportunities where you get to help create the health and care of the future
  • Health-promoting workplaces with access to fitness activities and fitness allowances
