About Viljan Sävik Treatment Home
Sävik Treatment Home in Säter was established in 1994 and is today an HVB (home for care or rehabilitation) offering treatment to men aged 18 to 55 with issues related to substance abuse/addiction, crime, and mental health. The treatment home is an "open" facility where clients choose to seek help themselves. At Sävik, therapists, nurses, doctors, treatment assistants, kitchen assistants, and chefs work for the benefit of the clients.
About the Role of Kitchen Assistant
We are now looking for an engaged kitchen assistant to join our team at Sävik Treatment Home. You will help ensure smooth operations in the kitchen by preparing food, clearing tables, washing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness. This is a perfect position for you who wish to combine work with studies or other activities, as the role is scheduled every other weekend (Friday–Sunday).
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is cheerful, detail-oriented, and enjoys collaborating with others. You are flexible, communicative, and responsible in your work approach. Since the pace in a kitchen can be fast, being stress-resistant is a plus.
Qualifications
We would appreciate if you have:
- Experience in kitchen work (meritorious, but not an absolute requirement).
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing.
- Good reading comprehension.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene.
We appreciate a strong interest in food and service. It is meritorious if you have education and/or experience from the food industry and large-scale kitchen work.
Employment Conditions
Scope and Working Hours
- Employment Level: 28 %
- Working Hours: Fixed schedule every other weekend (perfect part-time job!).
- Employment Type: Permanent position (with a 6-month probation period).
- Start Date: According to agreement.
- Collective Agreement: Yes.
