We are looking for you who want to help create a safe, stimulating, and joyful daily life for our elderly residents. At Ärlagården, every day is an opportunity to spread care and warmth. We are now looking for three new colleagues who want to make a difference together with us.

Ärlagården is beautifully located in the countryside just outside Eskilstuna, with close proximity to nature and green areas. The facility has a total of 22 places, 11 of which are for people with dementia. Approximately 22 employees work here, divided between day and night shifts. Here, you have the opportunity to influence and help develop the operations for our residents.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant (undersköterska), you provide support and care based on each resident's individual needs and wishes. You contribute to a meaningful, safe, and active daily life through a motivating and supportive approach. You work with personal care, delegated health and medical interventions, documentation, and implementation plans. As a contact person, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on interventions for some of the residents. You collaborate closely with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure safe and individualized care.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with people and wants to contribute to a safe and valuable daily life for our elderly. You are a trained nursing assistant and have experience working in healthcare and social care. Experience in elderly care or working with people with dementia is an advantage. We would like you to have experience with documentation systems and knowledge of, for example, BPSD or Senior Alert.

You can work days, evenings, and every other weekend according to the schedule and are open to receiving delegated tasks. Since the facility is located in the countryside with limited bus connections, you must have a valid driver's license (Category B) and access to a car, or alternatively live in the immediate area and be able to commute to the workplace in other ways.

You are a flexible and responsible person who enjoys finding solutions to challenges that arise. You have a positive attitude and a good ability to see the big picture in your work. You enjoy collaborating with others and have a knack for building trusting relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues. Good treatment and a high sense of service are a natural part of your working style.

As part of the recruitment process, a language test is conducted. Before employment, you must also present an extract from the police criminal record.
