About the role

As Terminal Manager, you have overall responsibility for the terminal's financial results, operational performance, and personnel functions. You lead and develop the operations in line with the company's goals regarding cost, delivery, quality, health and safety, environment, and employee engagement.

You are an present leader who engages and develops your team, while ensuring efficient and sustainable operations. You are an active leader who contributes to the daily operations yourself and ensures smooth logistics at the terminal. The role involves close collaboration with local, regional, and national functions.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Ensure and improve the terminal's operational performance in accordance with set goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Implement process improvements and new working methods to strengthen efficiency and quality.
• Lead workforce planning and long-term capacity planning.
• Initiate and drive development projects based on strategic goals and performance requirements.
• Be an active, supportive, and solution-oriented leader who promotes continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop employees through individual goals, training, and follow-up.
• Be responsible for working environment, health, and safety – including SAM, safety rounds, risk analyses, and fire protection.
• Handle and follow up on incidents, accidents, and improvement measures in collaboration with HR.
• Participate in regional and national projects related to terminal operations.
• Be a culture carrier and role model who actively communicates the company's values.

Skills & qualifications

Essential requirements

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Upper secondary education combined with relevant work experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Experience from logistics or transport operations, e.g., terminal work or transport management.
• Good IT skills, especially in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Category B driver's license

Desirable

• Leadership training
• Forklift license A + B
• CE driver's license
• Occupational health and safety training, e.g., BAM or equivalent.
