About Us

At OrthoCenter in Gothenburg, we provide elective, highly specialized orthopedic care with the entire care chain under one roof – outpatient clinic, surgery, inpatient ward, and rehabilitation. We have approximately 95 employees with various professional backgrounds, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, sterile technique technicians, physiotherapists, medical secretaries, and accountants. We perform both day surgery and inpatient procedures. Our inpatient ward primarily cares for hip and knee replacement patients, but other major orthopedic interventions may also require overnight stays. We have three operating rooms and perform surgeries during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

Your Role:

On the inpatient ward, nurses work in close collaboration with the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), which is staffed by specialized nurses. We assist in preparing patients before and after surgery. Patients are well-prepared when it is time for their operation. Our preoperative tasks include, among other things, premedication, peripheral venous catheter (PVC) insertion, shaving, washing, providing information, and mobilizing patients.

About You:

We are looking for a licensed nurse to join our inpatient ward at Capio OrthoCenter in Gothenburg. You will work Monday to Friday and be available for duties on both the inpatient ward and the post-anesthesia care unit. You should feel confident in your nursing role and enjoy providing high-quality service to our patients.
