Your role

Do you have a strong technical interest and enjoy solving problems? Do you thrive working practically and want to develop in a high-tech production environment? Then the role of Maintenance Technician might be right for you.

As a Maintenance Technician, you become part of an engaged team responsible for ensuring high availability and operational reliability in the company's machinery. You work close to production with both urgent interventions and long-term improvements to ensure efficient and stable operations.

The role offers great variation in tasks and the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in areas that interest you. As a new employee in the role, you will receive a thorough introduction and support from experienced colleagues to create the best conditions for success.

Examples of tasks:

• Troubleshooting and repair of machines and production equipment.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Handling of urgent operational disruptions.
• Training and support for operators.
• Participation in improvement and development work to increase operational reliability and efficiency.
• Collaboration with production and other functions to ensure a well-functioning operation.

Working hours are primarily during the day. After the introductory period, on-call duties are included according to a rotating schedule.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and are motivated by solving technical problems. You are curious, responsible, and thrive in a role where you get to combine practical work with troubleshooting and improvement work.

To succeed in the role, we believe you:

• Have a technical education at the upper secondary level or higher, for example within technology, industry, workshop, or electrical.
• Have experience working in maintenance, production, or other technical operations, or alternatively a strong technical interest and practical experience from, for example, vehicle mechanics or similar.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience from production or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge in machining, for example milling or turning.
• Experience with automation, control systems, or industrial equipment.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
