Our Mission

The mission of the Social Administration is to meet people's need for security. The administration shall work to ensure that the municipality's residents receive social care in various forms, with a special responsibility to safeguard the needs and interests of vulnerable groups. Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include investigating and assessing the need for physiotherapeutic interventions. You work to improve or maintain the individual's abilities and compensate for any reduced functional capacity. Your role includes prescribing and fitting various assistive devices.

You disseminate knowledge about rehabilitative methods and approaches, and supervise and educate care staff in transfer techniques and the handling of assistive devices. Within the Health and Medical Care Department, we work with quality and development work in various areas. Your work areas will be within home care, special housing, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities), and psychiatry within Kiruna Municipality.

Start Date: According to agreement.
Hours: The work is scheduled during daytime hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist.

As a person, you are positive and confident. You have a good ability to see the big picture and are skilled at structuring and organizing your work independently in an effective manner. You enjoy working in a team and value good collaboration between other professional categories to contribute to and develop the operations forward.

You are skilled in your interactions and maintain a professional and respectful approach when meeting users and colleagues. You have good digital competence and documentation skills.

Previous experience from municipal health and medical care is meritorious but not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
