If needed, we provide training when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality manager.

Job Description

You will work at Setra Kastet, which will also be your base of operations. The seasonal work is divided into the following periods and hours: Daytime 18/5-3/7 with 40 hours per week, Two-shift 20/7-14/8 with 38 hours per week, and Daytime 17/8-25/9 with 40 hours per week. Your tasks include bark beetle inspections as well as other routine duties at the measuring station, such as cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and maintain ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work is to be carried out in accordance with our values, meaning in a reliable, impartial and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, enjoys order and structure, and likes working with numbers. You are service-oriented towards both customers and colleagues, collaborative, and a good team player. You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and able to identify opportunities for improvement to enhance your daily work. Furthermore, you should be comfortable working with physical documents and digital systems, and be able to communicate clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A prerequisite for the position is that you have a valid B-driver's license and access to your own car.

Desirable/Qualifications

Forestry knowledge and experience in timber measurement are considered advantageous, as is the ability to communicate in English, although this is not a requirement.
