About the assignment

We are currently looking for four summer staff members for our client in Norrtälje. This is a temporary employment starting from week 24–35. Working hours vary, but the most common schedule is weekdays between 06:30–18:30 and approximately every other weekend. The location is Görla Recycling Center (near Norrtälje town). You will primarily step in to replace permanent staff during absences at the Görla facility, but work may also occur at other facilities in Norrtälje; Salmunge (near Rimbo) and Häverö (near Hallstavik). This is a consultancy assignment via Bemannia.

Your responsibilities

The work involves standard duties at a recycling center, including guiding and assisting residents with their waste.

• Receive and guide our customers on how to best sort their waste.
• Ensure that sorting is carried out according to current guidelines and laws.
• Provide information and answer questions about the different waste categories.
• Good communication skills and service-oriented.

Your qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
• Category B driver's license.

As a person, you should be service-oriented, friendly, thorough, and have good ability to communicate with people. Every day we meet all kinds of people and guide them on how to sort their waste in the best way. You will work in a team and should therefore also be a good team player who thrives in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Merits

• Machinery operator's license.
• Training in hazardous waste.

The work will not primarily involve machine operation or require further training in hazardous waste. However, it is a plus if you have a machinery license and experience handling hazardous waste, but this is not a requirement.
