Göteborgs Hamn AB is Scandinavia's largest port and a central hub for Sweden's infrastructure. The port is the gateway to the world for a large part of the Swedish business community and is visited daily by some of the world's largest ships. This requires our infrastructure to be of world-class standard. We work, among other things, with the new construction and maintenance of the port's quays and pipe infrastructure handling various types of oil, chemical products, and renewable fuels. We also make significant investments in railways, waterways, buildings, and other major renovation and reconstruction projects.

To the Infrastructure department and the energy port's workshop, we are now looking for a Water and Wastewater Technician.

Job Description

The position involves the maintenance and upkeep of Göteborgs Hamn AB's water and wastewater network. This includes troubleshooting, corrective actions, pipe welding, and water sampling. The role also includes participation in cruise ship calls and snow readiness duties at the quay.

You will be involved in all services within the Infrastructure Department and have both internal and external contacts. In our facility, there is a strong focus on safety and environmental awareness, where everyone has equal responsibility to ensure these standards are met.

Expectations

We are looking for you with practical training and/or experience in water and wastewater work. A few years of professional experience is desirable. We would appreciate experience in road and civil engineering work.

Experience working in EX environments as well as butt-fusion and electrofusion welding of PE is considered a merit.

As a person, you are service-oriented and have the ability and willingness to help others. You take responsibility, can work both independently and in a team, and demand precision. You enjoy tackling problems to find solutions, appreciate variety in work, and have good social skills.

Requirements: Valid Category B driver's license.
