About the Role

Are you an experienced welder looking to work in a quality-focused production environment? We are currently seeking several experienced and meticulous welders with competence in MIG/MAG and TIG welding for one of our clients in Valdemarsvik.

What the Role Entails

As a welder, you will perform manual welding, primarily on black materials such as thin sheet metal using the MIG/MAG method. TIG welding and welding on white materials (aluminum/stainless steel) are also part of the role. You will work daily according to drawings, perform welding tasks according to specifications, and ensure that finished products meet high quality standards. You will be welding varied components, but primarily chambers of different sizes and thicknesses. Your role as a welder also includes self-inspections and quality control of manufactured parts. The work is carried out both independently and in collaboration with other colleagues across different departments in the production.

Qualifications

• Education at a minimum of upper secondary level within Industrial Technology with a focus on welding.
• Previous multi-year work experience welding using MIG/MAG and TIG methods, in both black and white materials.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings.
• Hot work permit/certification.
• Category B driver's license and access to a car if you do not reside within Valdemarsvik Municipality.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits

The Employment

• Working hours: Shift work
• Start: The consultancy assignment is planned to start after the summer holiday periods.
• A simple practical welding test may be required by the client company.
• The assignment is planned to be ongoing with the possibility of direct employment with the client company in the long term.
