Ambulance care in Älvsbyn is a rural station where we work around the clock, all year round, providing prehospital emergency care. We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with at least three years of continuous possession of a Category B driver's license. Good physical fitness is required as heavy lifting occurs in the job. Therefore, physical tests will be conducted before employment. Previous experience in ambulance care is considered an advantage.

What you will work with
In ambulance care, you will encounter patients of all ages who have suffered from acute illness or injury, whether at home, outdoors, or at accident scenes. Together with an ambulance caregiver or another nurse, you form a team that is often the first on the scene in cases of serious illness or accidents. As an ambulance nurse, you perform the initial assessment, carry out treatment, and hold the medical responsibility for deciding on care and treatment measures. In ambulance care, each assignment involves unique situations and challenges where your help can be decisive and make a real difference.
Ambulance care is organizationally a separate unit within acute care. In rural areas, this includes integration with primary care/health centers. The team works together and collaborates with other professions such as emergency departments, municipalities, rescue services, and police. Älvsbyn is known for its beautiful nature, surrounded by extensive forests and lakes.

Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position. Working hours are scheduled around the clock. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
