The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic, or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: Care and Nursing, Support, and IFO (Individual and Family Care). The Care and Nursing department consists of units within elderly care homes, home care services, and municipal primary care. The Support department includes LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The IFO department consists of social services, employment unit, social psychiatry, and assistance unit.

We are now looking for assistant nurses for permanent positions within Home Care Munkedal and Centrum, to become part of our competent, responsible, and caring work group. Description of the work

Your work will include the daily care of our elderly, which you will perform with high quality according to their individual needs and situations that arise. The responsible work involves great participation and daily observations, in close cooperation with your colleagues to carry out interventions that contribute to the well-being of the elderly, such as medical care work after delegation by a nurse. You will offer support to our elderly in hygiene, walks, cooking, and companionship, which will contribute to a meaningful everyday life. Communication is also a large part of your work, where you will meet both the elderly and their relatives in a thoughtful, trustworthy, and respectful manner. We use mobile phones as our daily tool to register visits to our users.

Working hours are primarily scheduled for evenings and weekends.

Work may occur within other operations in the municipality as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• are at least 18 years old.
• are a licensed assistant nurse and have a protected professional title.
• have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• have a B driving license.
• have experience within care and nursing (meritorious).

In the work within home care, high demands are placed on independent work and the ability to handle emerging and sometimes stressful situations, something you feel secure in and handle calmly. You have good cooperation skills and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences and are open to learning from others. Furthermore, your professional and respectful treatment, as well as sensitivity, will create trusting relationships with our elderly, relatives, and colleagues. We value your high empathetic ability and great commitment to the well-being of our elderly people; looking after their different needs is a matter of course for you.
