Erikssons Åkeri i Tomelilla AB is a family-owned business and one of Scania's largest privately owned transport companies. We operate daily transport of refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods in Sweden and the Nordic region.

We are now looking for an experienced Transport Manager who wants to contribute to our continued development.

About the role

As a Transport Manager, you have a key role in daily operations and are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing our transports efficiently.

You work closely with drivers, customers, and colleagues and are an important part of ensuring high quality, good service, and delivery precision.

The role includes among other things:

  • Planning and optimization of transports
  • Daily contact with customers and drivers
  • Follow-up of deliveries and deviations
  • Administrative tasks related to transport operations
  • Invoice handling, approval, and some pricing
  • Collaboration with other transport managers and traffic control

The position is full-time with regular working hours 07:00–16:00 on weekdays. Evening and weekend work occurs according to a rotating schedule.

We are looking for you who

  • Have experience in transport management within the transport or logistics industry
  • Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
  • Are structured, responsible, and have good prioritization skills
  • Are stress-resistant and thrive in a high-paced environment
  • Have very good communication skills
  • Are service-oriented and professional in your approach
  • Have the ability to build good relationships with both customers and drivers
  • Are proficient with computers

We would appreciate if you have experience in personnel management or team leadership, as the role involves close collaboration with our drivers and responsibility for creating good communication in daily operations.

Merits

  • Education in transport management, logistics, or similar
  • Experience with Opter or other transport management systems
  • Experience with Volvo Connect
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Polish and/or Lithuanian
  • CE driving license
