About the role

You will be part of a small team responsible for handling materials and goods flows in the business. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues and requires precision, quality awareness, and the ability to follow established routines and instructions.

The role is varied, and you will work with several different tasks within the department. You will use digital systems as a natural part of the work and have the opportunity to gradually develop your knowledge of both processes and working methods. The business actively works with competence development and offers good opportunities to grow in the role.

The work also includes physical tasks and material handling, which means you need to enjoy practical work and have good physical fitness.

This is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Academic Work while the employment takes place directly with the client. The employment is initially for one year, but with good opportunities for extension.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves traditional warehouse work, and you will, for example, work with:

• Goods receiving
• Storage
• Warehouse picking
• Inventories
• Coming up with ideas and working together with the group to improve and develop the department

We are looking for you who

• Have good Swedish skills to be able to work according to instructions, and have an understanding of English
• Have upper secondary education
• Have experience in warehouse work
• Are accustomed to keeping documentation, and are accustomed to working according to written instructions.

It is an advantage if you have

• Truck license A2 and B2
• Worked in the pharmaceutical or food industry

We also view it positively if you live in or near Umeå, as the need is relatively immediate.
