In addition to nursing care, our family at the Support and Care Department consists of LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), the catering unit, Employment and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

The municipality's short-term care unit, Eken, is located in Hammarstrand, close to Nyviksvägen SÄBO, and consists of 10 care beds. Care assistants/care assistants work around the clock at the short-term unit. There is a nurse during daytime hours, and as needed, a physiotherapist and occupational therapist.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Care Assistant, you provide personal care, service, and support by motivating and stimulating according to the individual's needs and prerequisites. The work includes both medical and rehabilitative measures performed under delegation from licensed personnel. In the work, it is important that you have the ability to see each person's needs, are meticulous, and take responsibility. You enjoy working with older people, have a high degree of empathy, are receptive, have a good manner of dealing with people, and good cooperation skills. We work to create social content in everyday life and a meaningful existence. Contact with relatives is an important part of our work, and we value the good relationship.

You are part of a work team in your unit but are flexible to support colleagues in other units. Working hours vary with service according to schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Ragunda Municipality applies flexible working hours with the help of the scheduling tool Multi Access.

We are looking for two full-time care assistants for our residence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a care assistant education.

In the work with our citizens, a dignified manner of dealing with people and a warm interest in working with people are very important. You should have a positive outlook, good cooperation skills, and be responsible. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

It is a requirement that you can understand and make yourself understood in Swedish in such a way that you can communicate with residents, relatives, and staff. It is also important that you are computer literate and can express yourself well in writing in Swedish, as documentation is an important part of the work.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience of previous work in rehabilitative activities.
• Experience as a hygiene delegate.
• Worked with contact person duties.
• Had medication delegation, including more advanced.
