We are in an exciting phase following a reorganization that has strengthened our working methods and collaboration. Within the administration, we work on developing and caring for the municipality's traffic systems and public spaces.

The administration consists of five departments and approximately 145 dedicated employees. Together, we work with everything from planning and regulatory enforcement to projects, production, operations, and business support. RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a Landscape Engineer, you will primarily work with the management of the municipality's green public environments. You will have an exciting and varied job involving the development and long-term maintenance of e.g., playgrounds, bathing areas, and other nature and park land.

In the role, you will have a coordinating function within the department and work together with other administrators within streets and harbors, as well as other colleagues within planning, construction, and operations. Together, you will develop working methods for the long-term and sustainable management of our outdoor environments.

The position involves among other things:

• Coordinate and develop the management of the municipality's public environments
• Coordinate the work of developing and implementing maintenance plans
• Map our facilities and formulate goals for different areas
• Contribute your expertise in green space maintenance, plant knowledge, and management of green environments

You will also handle questions and feedback from the public, which requires a professional and service-oriented approach.

The goal of the administrator role is to:

• Ensure long-term value in the municipality's facilities
• Create good knowledge about our assets
• Reduce the need for emergency measures through planned management

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have or are:

• Landscape scientist, Landscape Engineer, or have other equivalent education
• Experience of working within land management, with a focus on green space maintenance
• Good understanding of how maintenance and upkeep levels can be balanced based on economy and function
• Experience working with geodata in the software QGIS
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience of working within the public sector
• Experience of tree care

You work in a structured manner and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and complete your tasks with high quality.
