Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is located on Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through an extensive healthcare agreement with the Region Västra Götaland, we provide specialist care in dialysis/nephrology, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, as well as an operating unit within day surgery.

We are approximately 220 employees who together form a small and efficient organization with high competence and short decision-making paths. The hospital is characterized by a consistent focus on quality and a strong patient focus, with good continuity and high accessibility. The psychiatry clinic is an outpatient clinic with a cognitive focus, emphasizing rapid rehabilitation and return to work. We have a strong patient focus and offer our patients very good continuity and high accessibility. Our most common diagnoses are anxiety, depression, and neuropsychiatric conditions (assessment and treatment).

We work in well-composed teams with various professional categories to ensure our patients receive the best care chain. The unit is staffed with experienced psychiatrists, licensed psychotherapists (CBT), psychologists, physiotherapists with a psychiatric focus, psychiatric nurses, and medical secretaries.

There is already an occupational therapist in our team, and we are now strengthening the occupational therapy service by adding one more employee.

We are looking for a Licensed Occupational Therapist who has the desire and interest to further develop operations at Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital together with an experienced and engaged team.

As an occupational therapist, interventions involve starting from the patient's resources and limitations and finding tools/strategies that can help the patient achieve a better-functioning daily life and sustainable activity balance.

You will work with patients both individually and in groups, with the goal of establishing a functional daily life for the patient.

Working hours are during the day, Monday–Friday.

A six-month probationary period applies before permanent employment.

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have a strong interest in working with patients with psychiatric diagnoses and mental illness within specialist care.

As a person, you are positive, engaged, and interested in driving care forward for our patients. You have a pedagogical approach and a holistic mindset with the patient's needs in focus. Since you will be part of a tight-knit team around the patients, we place great importance on personal qualities.
