Your Responsibilities

Welcome to a workplace where every day involves meaningful encounters, and where you, together with your colleagues, are a crucial part of creating a meaningful daily life for our elderly residents. We are now looking for a new colleague for Möjetorp Nursing Home.

In the role of assistant nurse/care assistant, you meet the individual's needs and create a pleasant existence. Together with your colleagues, you will perform nursing tasks such as assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, and medical interventions. We strive to create opportunities for social interaction and engage in various activities such as singing, cooking, gardening, and much more. We work based on Individual Needs in Focus (IBIC) and have a salutogenic approach, meaning we focus on health and support each individual's own abilities.

As part of our work team, you will not only perform nursing tasks but also develop in your role. You will be assigned contact responsibility for a number of individuals, where you participate in welcome conversations and plan support measures together with the individual. You are responsible for implementation plans and documentation in the Treserva system. Additionally, close contact with relatives and other collaborating parties is included. Your Workplace

Möjetorp Nursing Home is located in nature-friendly Hjulsbro. Here we have three departments with a total of 21 places. Syrenen and Blåklinten focus on somatic care, while Liljan focuses on dementia care. You will belong to a work team of 25 assistant nurses and care assistants. At the home, we arrange various activities for the residents, and you as an employee participate in the planning.

At Möjetorp Nursing Home, we work extensively with business development, where you as an employee play an important role. We work with ombudsman roles, where you in your position work to drive the development of the home forward. We use well-developed welfare technology in our work and digital systems such as BEATA and Welfare. At Möjetorp Nursing Home, we constantly see the opportunity to become better!

Your working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Who You Are

We are looking for you with a completed upper secondary education, and it is meritorious if you have a certified education from the Care and Nursing Program. Experience in nursing work is a requirement, and it is meritorious if you have experience working with people with cognitive illness. We appreciate if you have knowledge of the salutogenic approach, low-affective handling, and the IBIC working method. Since communication is crucial in elderly care, we expect you to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Digital competence is also important, and experience with documenting in journal systems is seen as meritorious.

As a person, you are self-reliant, responsible, and have the ability to drive your work forward. You thrive in collaboration with others, are clear in your communication, and possess an empathetic ability that allows you to put yourself in others' perspectives and situations.
