Nurse for On-Call Unit (June–August 2026)

Employment Level: 80–90 %
Working Hours: Between 19:45–07:00, 20:30–07:45, or 21:00–08:15. There is an opportunity to work evening shifts (16:00–21:00), which are also covered by the on-call operations.

Responsibilities: You will provide advanced health and medical care and participate in the delegation process for nursing staff. Your duties include general and specialized nursing, medical assessments, and treatment responsibility to ensure the individual receives the care and treatment prescribed by physicians. You will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and following care plans. Additionally, you will provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff in the team according to the client's routines. You will handle reporting, processing, and follow-up of deviations, document in various operational systems, participate in improvement work and organizational changes, archive records, and staff the "Care to Care" (VtV) telephone line. Practical tasks include assessments, executing prescriptions, wound care, sample collection, and support/guidance for nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Nursing license (Sjuksköterskelegitimation)
- Swedish language proficiency level C1
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- At least two (2) years of professional experience as a nurse
- Active work as a nurse during the last two (2) years
- Competence and experience in handling advanced medical technical products, including medication pumps, catheters, PEG (changing, capping, care), sample collection, KAD (insertion, flushing), infusions, injections, mixing drips, Port-a-cath (needle insertion, sampling), PICC line (dressing change, sampling), blood transfusions, and CVK (dressing change, sampling).
- Swedish personal identity number (Personnummer) to issue an official SITHS card
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with documentation in Treserva Health Case
- Experience working as a nurse in SÄBO (Coordinated living arrangements for the elderly)
