Our client is now looking for a Service and Installation Technician to join their team. Here you will work practically with the installation, service, and maintenance of technical equipment within water treatment – an industry with a strong focus on sustainability.

About the role

In this role, you will work with the installation, commissioning, service, and modification of the company's machinery at customer sites. The work takes place primarily in industrial environments and involves regular travel within Sweden, as well as to Norway and Denmark when needed.

You will work in a team and have ongoing contact with customers in connection with assignments.

Working hours:

• Monday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00
• Thursday: 07:00–12:30

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of machinery
• Service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Modification and adaptation of existing facilities
• Work with piping systems, pumps, valves, and auxiliary equipment
• Reading drawings and technical documentation
• Material ordering and basic planning
• Customer contact in connection with assignments

We are looking for someone who

• Has technical education at least at the upper secondary level (e.g., industry, electrical, or mechanics) or equivalent experience
• Has experience with mechanical work in an industrial environment
• Is proficient with tools
• Can read and work from drawings

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience with the installation of pumps, valves, or similar equipment
• Experience with piping is an advantage
• Thrives in a role that involves travel

Additional information

The location is flexible, and you do not need to be resident in Borås to be considered for the position.
