Do you want to help develop the future of data-driven public transport? We are now looking for an engaged and analytical Data Scientist for a business where data, analysis, and AI are central to creating value and developing operations. You will become part of a specialist team within Data & Analytics working to build and further develop the organization's AI capabilities, both through technical innovation and by creating concrete solutions to operational challenges.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern technical environment where development takes place on an advanced analytics platform in Azure, alongside modern solutions for data management, analysis, and AI. You will play a key role in strengthening the organization's ambition to become more data-driven and contribute to the development of new ways of working, processes, and technical solutions.

As a Data Scientist, you are responsible for the entire lifecycle of data science projects – from identifying and defining operational problems to collecting and processing data, performing analyses, developing models, and implementing solutions in the business. You work with both classic data analysis, machine learning, and generative AI depending on the business's needs and problem areas.

The work involves analyzing large datasets, such as travel patterns and customer behaviors, as well as using generative AI to analyze and process customer feedback and other information sources. The role involves close collaboration with business representatives, stakeholders, and colleagues in cross-functional teams where you contribute expertise in data science and AI. You are expected to actively drive the work forward, create understanding of complex problems, and translate needs into concrete, value-creating solutions.

• Experience working as a Data Scientist.

• Experience with advanced data analysis and machine learning.

• Experience developing and implementing data science solutions from requirements to production deployment.

• Experience working with generative AI.

• Ability to handle the entire data science process, including data collection, analysis, model development, and implementation.

• Experience collaborating with business and stakeholders to identify and solve business or operational challenges.

• Good communication skills and experience presenting results and recommendations.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive tasks forward.

• Good teamwork skills and experience working in agile teams.

• Experience working in Azure-based analytics platforms.

• Experience with modern data and AI platforms.

• Experience analyzing customer behaviors or large datasets within the transport or public sector.

• Experience working with geodata or Esri platforms.

• Location: Stockholm, Kungsholmen.

• Scope: 100% (40 hours per week).

• Contract period: 2026-08-10 – 2027-08-09.
