We are looking for a Sub-Project Manager for a player in energy production and district heating.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Lead and drive sub-projects within investment projects for EL-power at plant sites on an ongoing basis for PMO. The projects concern technical reviews and upgrades of entire or partial facilities, as well as new construction of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, drive, and deliver sub-projects within EL-power, responsible for time, scope, quality, and budget according to the investment process.
• Lead and coordinate sub-project team members and steer suppliers and contractors through the various phases of the project.
• Investigate, analyze, and develop technical solutions based on the business's needs, requirements, and project goals.
• Ensure that technical solutions, constructions, and implementations meet current technical requirements, standards, and guidelines.
• Develop technical specifications, request documents, and procurement materials, and participate in the evaluation of bids.
• Responsible for the development and follow-up of budgets, schedules, and resource planning within the sub-project.
• Plan, lead, and follow up on project activities and handle daily project management.
• Identify, analyze, and manage project and occupational health and safety risks to ensure safe execution.
• Report project status, progress, risks, and deviations to the project manager and other stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient coordination and communication between internal and external parties.
• Ensure that occupational health, safety, and EHS issues are integrated and adhered to throughout the project implementation.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

Civil Engineer or University College Engineer with good sub-project management experience and technical knowledge in (EL-power) energy, process industry, or production development/manufacturing.

7–10 years of experience in EL-power, not necessarily only as a sub-project manager or EL-power engineer.

Good knowledge and experience in procurement, investment calculations, and contract law.

Worked within the cogeneration and energy industry, heavy process industry, or other industrial operations.

Good knowledge in the field of EL-power within power and heat production.

Good knowledge in the preparation of documents and specifications.

Good knowledge in compiling materials for procurement.

Good knowledge in electrical safety.

Good knowledge and understanding of EL-power, electrical engineering, switchgear, power supply, low and medium voltage, transformers, UPS/reserve power, converters, FOM, busbars, cables, and electrical safety. Experience in describing how to implement technology for our suppliers and leading/participating in commissioning, preferably within the heat/power industry.

Accustomed to preparing and/or specifying object lists, function descriptions, and other materials such as FFU to describe scope and function, and to verify the delivery against the specifications.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Requirement for ESA training.

Driver's license.

Meritorious

An established network with potential suppliers of EL-power services/contracts can be an advantage.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are meticulous and systematic, have an interest in project management/technology and economics, and have good teamwork skills.

You are comfortable taking personal responsibility and turning ideas into new and improved working methods.

Other Requirements

Security Clearance: Security clearance and register control are required.
