Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) in Huddinge is looking for a qualified Music Teacher to join our team, teaching Year 6 to Year 9.

IES Huddinge opened in 2013 and has approximately 500 students in Years 6-9. We are located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, an area currently undergoing significant development.

We are looking for teachers who are enthusiastic about their subject, possess excellent classroom management skills, and have a sincere interest in student well-being.

In addition, you will be part of a year team (arbetslag) overseeing the academic progress and well-being of students. We are looking for a positive and creative team player who seeks solutions, shares ideas, and is open to learning from others. The role also includes mentoring 16 students.

Teaching at the school is conducted in both Swedish and English, following the Swedish national curriculum. Our student body is diverse, and to be successful at IES Huddinge, you need a good understanding of students' differences, as well as the ability to adapt and plan effectively.

Besides teaching, you will serve as a mentor for 16 students. Since we teach in Swedish for at least half of our instruction, it is highly advantageous if you are educated in Sweden and hold a Swedish teaching license. Experience teaching in Sweden and knowledge of the Swedish curriculum (Lgr22) are also considered merits.
