We believe that progress and opportunities are best created together. Welcome to a place where collaboration makes a difference.
Your Role
Saab in Karlskoga is growing, and we are now strengthening our logistics department with an additional warehouse worker who can handle shipments, transport of dangerous goods, as well as warehouse work within the Björkborn area in Karlskoga.
In this role, you will work both indoors and outdoors using reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts. Your main tasks will include handling inbound deliveries, picking, packing, and inventory. You will also perform some administrative tasks within our warehouse systems and MS Office.
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, we believe you have experience from a similar position previously. You are comfortable and confident as a forklift driver and have experience with both reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts. The work requires strong forklift skills; therefore, forklift licenses A and B are required for this position.
You enjoy switching between warehouse work and a smaller amount of administrative tasks in our warehouse systems and MS Office. Therefore, we look for someone who has the ability to handle administrative duties as well as good computer skills.
As a person, you are hardworking, responsible, and proactive. You work in a structured manner and have a good ability to prioritize between different tasks. Since the pace is high at times, it is important that you can handle multiple processes simultaneously and quickly adapt to new conditions. You do this with a positive attitude, and your strong work ethic shines through in your commitments.
It is important that you are a good team player, have good communication skills, and can independently gather information. Your personal qualities weigh heavily in this recruitment. You need to have very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as the operations are visited by both Swedish and international customers.
Requirements for the position:
- Experience in warehouse work
- Experience working in business systems and the Office suite
- Driver's license category B
- Forklift licenses A and B
Meritorious experience:
- Experience handling chemicals
- Approved training in ADR 1.3
- Overhead crane license
The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
Please note that we conduct continuous selection, and the position may be filled before the final application date has passed. Please note that this is a fixed-term employment.
