Your role

As a Plumber/Fitter, your role involves working on and maintaining ships with a high level of technical complexity. The work is varied and offers excellent opportunities to develop your craftsmanship and professional expertise.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manufacturing of one-off parts
• Maintenance work
• Renovation and conversion of the Navy's surface ships

The work is performed both onboard ships and in the workshop. Domestic travel may be required.

Your profile

To apply for this role, you must have:

• Education in plumbing or welding
• Experience and knowledge in TIG and brazing/soldering methods
• A few years of professional experience

The role requires proficiency in spoken and written Swedish, as well as holding at least a B-class driver's license.

The following are considered meritorious for the position:

• Lift ticket and experience in operating lifts
• Experience with crane, forklift, and mobile platform work, as well as heavy lifting operations.
• Experience in machining materials, including drilling, turning, milling, and threading.

Working hours are during the day, and shift work may occur.
