The Southern Lapland Upper Secondary School Consortium (SLG) comprises upper secondary schools in the towns of Vilhelmina, Storuman, and Tärnaby. The schools have high goal achievement rates and a high proportion of qualified teachers. Teaching groups are small.

We strive for SLG to be the natural choice for young people in Southern Lapland, offering nine national programs, introductory programs, and apprenticeship training. SLG also offers NIU (National Sports Education) programs in arm wrestling and alpine skiing.

Description

Luspengymnasiet in Storuman is currently seeking a teacher in vehicle-related subjects.

Responsibilities

You will teach students at Luspengymnasiet in Storuman. Your main task is to work towards ensuring that all students reach their knowledge goals and develop as much as possible. You will also collaborate with colleagues to develop operations in the best possible way and support students' goal achievement.

Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have teacher certification as a primary/lower secondary school teacher and/or upper secondary school teacher. You are a good and clear leader who strives to adapt your teaching to students' needs. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents. You see digital tools as a natural part of teaching and are eager to learn new things. You collaborate well and express yourself clearly in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is of great importance.
