As a Data Scientist, you will become part of an established and collaborative team consisting of Data Scientists, developers, and Product Owners. Together, you will work on developing and implementing advanced decision support tools that help the business make better and more data-driven decisions. You will tackle complex problems by developing, validating, and improving predictive models, simulations, and optimization algorithms. The role involves close collaboration with various parts of the business, where you transform business challenges into scalable and innovative data solutions. The work is varied and combines advanced analysis, software development, and business-oriented collaboration. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy working at the intersection of technology and business, have a strong interest in problem-solving, and want to contribute to the development of future data-driven products.

Examples of what you will do:

• Develop automated software solutions using machine learning and optimization techniques
• Collaborate with the business to identify challenges and create data-driven solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency
• Measure and track the business value of models and continuously improve their performance
• Participate in the entire product development process – from idea and analysis to production and further development
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery of data-driven products
• Stay updated on the latest developments in AI, machine learning, optimization, and data science
• Contribute to a culture characterized by innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar field
• Have a strong foundation in modeling, optimization, and algorithm development
• Have experience with or a strong interest in software development
• Have experience with Python and relevant tools within Data Science and Machine Learning
• Have experience with predictive modeling and forecasting
• Have a good understanding of Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning concepts
• Speak and write fluent English, as this is used in daily work

Advantageous if you have:

• Experience with foundation models for tabular or time-series data
• Experience from the transport, logistics, aviation, or maritime industries
• Experience with revenue management or capacity optimization
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Azure
• Experience in developing or working with AI agents
