Within Alleima and Division Tube, the Nuclear Production Unit develops and manufactures seamless tubes made of advanced stainless steel and special alloys, primarily steam generator tubes and cladding tubes used in energy supply worldwide. We are also at the forefront when it comes to future solutions for energy production.

To our maintenance team, we are now looking for a Maintenance Mechanic.

Your Role

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will work with maintaining and developing production equipment, focusing on ensuring high operational reliability, optimizing OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and creating cost-effective solutions. You will follow up on implemented measures and actively work with analysis and improvement initiatives to develop the business. The role may also involve taking on additional tasks based on your competence and the company's needs, in dialogue with your direct manager.

This is a day shift position, but shift work may occur if needed.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Working with preventive maintenance by creating, implementing, and developing PM plans
• Performing corrective maintenance to ensure high operational reliability
• Following and actively contributing to the development of the maintenance process
• Supporting the planning and preparation process
• Documenting work, time, root cause, and improvement proposals in the maintenance system
• Following up on completed work and initiating improvement measures
• Contributing technical expertise in investment and renovation projects

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a high school education in maintenance workshop technology or a similar direction, along with a few years of relevant work experience, preferably in heavy industry. You are proficient with computers and use digital tools as a natural part of your work. We also see it as a big plus if you have a forklift and overhead crane license, as well as certification in Hot Work.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, characterized by good collaboration skills and attention to detail. You are a responsible, self-motivated individual who is stimulated by problem-solving. It is a prerequisite that you are technically interested and have broad technical knowledge of industrial facilities and a good understanding of established maintenance and repair methods. You work systematically with improvement initiatives and actively contribute to increasing the facility's efficiency and safety. In the role, you are expected to share your knowledge while being open to learning from your colleagues. With the help of available documentation and a logical working method, you have the ability to independently analyze and solve technical problems.
