About the role

As a Technician, you will work in a tight-knit two-person team performing precision tasks within ground stabilization. Your role is crucial in ensuring high quality, precision, and safety in field projects.

This is initially a consultancy assignment via Academic Work for 6 months, with good prospects of permanent employment with our client after this period.

Responsibilities

The role involves practical field work including drilling, measuring, and machine maintenance, where precision and safety are of utmost importance. As the work takes place across Sweden, extensive travel will be required.

  • Perform precision drilling using handheld equipment.
  • Use leveling equipment to monitor work results in real-time.
  • Responsible for daily checks and maintenance logs for machines, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Ensure the use of correct protective equipment and strictly follow SHEQ policies.
  • Maintain accurate daily time reports, vehicle defect logs, and tachograph reports.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A completed upper secondary education (high school diploma).
  • Previous relevant work experience.
  • Good physical fitness and endurance to handle heavy handheld tools.
  • Ability to travel extensively (weekly trips) across Sweden.
  • Valid B-category driver's license.
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish and good proficiency in English.

Merits include

  • Basic understanding of different soil types and their behavior during drilling/injection.
  • C-category driver's license.
  • Mechanical interest and experience with machine maintenance.
  • Experience from the foundation, ground, and construction industry.
