We are looking for an Installation Coordinator for an authority within the transport sector. This is a consultancy assignment with the workplace in Stockholm. The position is at 60% of a full-time role.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

We are seeking a consultant for a combined role as Installation Coordinator, Design Manager, and Commissioning Manager within metro projects and civil engineering works. The role involves responsibility for monitoring production, coordinating between designers and contractors, and ensuring quality, time, and cost in the execution of projects. The assignment also includes responsibility for testing, coordinated installations, and coordination with operations and external actors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with issues related to construction documents and coordinate questions and answers between the designer and the contractor.
• Monitor and report on the progress of contractors regarding time, cost, and quality.
• Be responsible for changes and additional works (ÄTA) and document and report these to the project manager.
• Participate in and lead coordination meetings with operation operators.
• Provide input to the project manager regarding forecasts related to installation works.
• Lead and minute installation coordination meetings.
• Coordinate interfaces with operation operators to minimize impact on operations.
• Make decisions within the given mandate for the project.
• Ensure that contractors follow governing documents and requirements.
• Participate in inspections and assist in the handover to the receiving organization.
• Represent the project in contact with authorities, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ensure that work preparation plans for installation works are developed, reviewed, and approved.
• Report to the project manager and coordinate with other project members.
• Participate in project-related meetings and contribute to efficiencies and savings within the project.
• Ensure that testing and coordinated testing meet established requirements and regulations.

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

• University degree or 10 years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Documented experience as a Commissioning Manager (Commissioning Lead) in at least one infrastructure/industry project with a budget over 500 Mkr.
• Completed at least one major assignment/project (10 mkr) as an Installation Coordinator in projects with ongoing operations.
• Had the role of Base-P in an infrastructure/industry project.
• At least 10 years of work experience as an Installation Coordinator.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Design Manager.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Merits

• At least 1 year of experience working with wash bays in public transport.
• Experience from at least 2 projects where you were responsible for installation coordination meetings.
• Experience from at least 2 projects where you were responsible for handling ÄTA (changes/additions) and cost forecasts.
