About Us

The Midwife Clinic in Lysekil is a small clinic with two midwives working closely together in daily operations. We are co-located with the Youth Clinic and Mini-Maria, which creates excellent opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange. Our other clinics in the area are located in Strömstad, Tanumshede, Sotenäs, Orust, and Munkedal. The clinics share a common manager and collaborate closely. We value a good working environment and a positive work climate. Regionhälsan's midwife clinics are HBTQ-certified, and we operate with management and quality systems according to ISO 9001:2015.

About the Role

As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample checks, vaccinations, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, group parenting support, telephone advice, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students.

We promote employee development and work according to career development models, mapping your competencies against the model to identify next steps in terms of education, development, and tasks. You are involved in both your own and the clinic's development, and we value your initiative.

We offer mentorship to all employees and place great emphasis on a good, individualized introduction. As a midwife with us, you receive up to ten competence development days per year, including training days, planning days, and conferences. About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience from working at a midwife clinic is considered an advantage. As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Personal suitability for the role is highly valued.

Conditions

The position is during daytime hours and may also involve work at one of our other clinics in the area. It may also become relevant to take on a role as a team coordinator.
