Environmental Worker/Driver Summer Temp (Helsingborg)

About the role

At Ohlssons, we are looking for summer temp Environmental Workers/Drivers for our operations in Helsingborg.

As a driver with us, you are a vital part of the daily flow that keeps society running. Whether you work with household waste collection, transporting recycled materials, or driving gravel and excavation transports within contracting, you contribute directly to a sustainable and functional infrastructure.

We have a broad and modern fleet of vehicles, including garbage trucks, truck-mounted cranes, lift dumpers, crane trucks, and vans. This means tasks vary depending on the assignment and your skills. Some roles involve working in urban areas with recurring routes, while others involve contracting work in close collaboration with machine operators and field colleagues.

You receive your assignments from the operations manager/transport leader but have significant responsibility for planning and executing your drives safely, efficiently, and with high quality. Daily inspection of vehicles and equipment is a natural part of the job.

As part of Ohlssons, you represent us in daily customer interactions. Professional and service-oriented customer service is a natural part of the work.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a Category C driving license; Category CE required for some assignments
• Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate for Drivers of Goods Vehicles)
• Some years of experience in the driving profession
• Basic IT skills
• Good communication skills in Swedish
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage
• Depending on the vehicle and assignment, additional qualifications may be required, such as CE license, crane operator certificate over 18 ton-meters, or ADR.
• Weekend work may occur in some assignments.
