About the Role
As a Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for projects from early design stages to handover. The projects vary in size and content, covering extensions, renovations, and maintenance services for both private and public sector clients. You will serve as a central contact between clients, colleagues, consultants, and contractors, and will be part of an experienced and cohesive team where quality, cost control, and time discipline are guiding principles.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases: feasibility study, design, procurement, production, and completion.
• Responsible for schedules, budgets, and project economics, including ongoing monitoring and forecasting.
• Procure and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Review design documents, drawings, and technical descriptions to ensure functionality, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, safety representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Document, report, and prepare decision-making materials.
• Drive occupational health and safety issues; act as BAS-P/BAS-U where applicable.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in construction project management; documented independent project responsibility is required.
• Experience from the client side, as a consultant, or as a contractor; breadth across multiple roles is advantageous.
• Good understanding of project economics, procurement, contract law (AB04/ABT06), the Planning and Building Act (PBL), and AMA standards; experience with authority contacts and permit processes.
• Experience in leading subcontractors and quality-assuring design documents.
• Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written); good computer skills.
• Valid B driver's license required.
• Personal attributes: responsible, structured, communicative, proactive, and team-oriented.

Practical Information

• Location: Stockholm and surrounding areas (assignments up to ~10 miles may occur).
• Position: Full-time. Travel for work may be required.
