CONTRACTING ENGINEER - MALMQVIST & CO. BYGGNADS AB, STOCKHOLM

They also work with service and maintenance in ongoing operations, where accessibility and care are crucial. This can involve quickly fixing something that has broken or managing a property over a long period through a clear service agreement.

We are now looking for a Contracting Engineer to join Malmqvist & Co. Byggnads' team, who wants to become an important part of the organization and contribute to developing both projects and working methods.

To succeed in the role of Contracting Engineer, we see that you have a sense for structure and are a social, solution-oriented person who enjoys working "alongside" production – albeit equally involved! We believe you have a relevant engineering education or similar, along with substantial experience from similar roles and are accustomed to working in project-based operations. You also have good knowledge of contracting law and enjoy doing business. You handle Swedish and English well in both speech and writing.

About the role:

As a Contracting Engineer, you work closely with project management, site managers, and procurement in construction projects. You play a central role in the administrative and economic management of projects and serve as support throughout the entire contracting process.

The tasks vary depending on the size and phase of the projects, but include among other things:

• Economic follow-up and forecasting
• Estimating and quantity surveying
• Purchasing and tendering of subcontractors and materials
• Contract management and administration
• ETA (Early Termination Agreement) management and project administration
• Scheduling and production support
• Documentation and follow-up

We are looking for you who:

• Have education in construction, civil engineering, or equivalent experience
• Have experience from the construction industry – preferably as a Contracting Engineer, Foreman, Estimator, or similar
• Have a good understanding of contracting law and construction processes
• Are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Thrive with responsibility and collaboration in a project environment
• Have experience with public procurement
