About the Job

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing service and helping others. Bärgningstjänsten Sverige AB is now seeking one (1) tow truck driver for our Towing Team in Gothenburg. The position is 100% full-time, with a start date to be agreed upon.

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include performing towing and roadside assistance duties, which include towing vehicles from accident scenes to workshops, driving TMA-protected vehicles, and performing simple repairs such as tire changes, tire repairs, and jump-starts at our customers' locations. We also perform field repairs and simple maintenance for heavy vehicles.

You will work according to a fixed three-week roster, meaning shifts occur every day of the week, including weekends, with rest days scheduled. On-call duty is also part of the role according to a pre-determined schedule.

We provide basic training in towing technology if you lack previous experience.

Are You the Right Fit?

You hold a valid YKB qualification (Swedish professional competence certificate for drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods) and at least a Category C driver's license, with some years of experience driving heavy vehicles. Having a CE or D license, experience in car towing, machine transport, or mechanical experience is advantageous. Experience with TMA vehicle driving and APV 1.1-1.3 as well as 2.1 and 2.2 is advantageous (including a passed certification test from the Swedish Transport Administration).

Your proficiency in Swedish and English must be good. Since you interact with many parties and colleagues, language and communication skills are important. To achieve good results, it is important that you are service-oriented, collaborative, and have good communication skills. Good physical fitness and the ability to handle stressful situations are prerequisites for the role. We use digital order and task systems, so basic computer and phone literacy is also important.
