At Ruukki, we are now looking for an engaged and driven loading/unloading operator for our new sandwich panel manufacturing facility in Borlänge. The new production line is the first in Scandinavia to produce PIR sandwich panels tailored to the needs of Nordic customers.

At Ruukki, you will work in a varied role where you help ensure that logistics run smoothly – from goods receipt to delivery. You will also have the opportunity to influence working methods, routines, safety, and our improvement work.

About the role

You will work in a small team following current instructions, primarily focusing on loading and related tasks. You will receive drivers, handle transport documents, and load and unload goods. You are responsible for the staging areas and the flow between them. As a forklift driver, you support our line operators with lifting and moving goods. As we are in a startup phase, you will be a key part of our continuous improvement work.

We would appreciate it if you were open to temporarily rotating into production during absences or peak workloads. The work takes place during daytime hours, but a two-shift system may become relevant in the future.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for loading and unloading goods as well as the overall logistics within the factory area
• Receive deliveries and handle goods receipt in a structured and efficient manner
• Picking and packing of accessories
• Forklift operation
• Actively participate in improvement and change work within the logistics flow

We are looking for you who

We see that you have experience with forklift operation; crane operation is an advantage. As a person, you are organized and like to work methodically and carefully, even when the pace is high. Furthermore, we see that you are responsible, flexible, and love working in a team as much of the work is done in groups. We also require a high level of environmental and safety awareness. You are computer literate and have basic knowledge of English.
