We are recruiting an experienced and business-driven project manager in the demolition industry!

ML Demo, a stable and family-owned demolition company with operations in Stockholm and headquarters in Saltsjö-Boo, is now looking for a project manager who wants to lead challenging projects within demolition, dismantling, remediation, and core drilling. About ML Demo

ML Demo employs approximately 70 staff members and 40–60 subcontractors. We have a flat organization where commitment, security, and hands-on leadership are a given. We offer continuous competence development and a work environment where employees stay for a long time.

About the Role

As a project manager in demolition, you are responsible for independently leading and driving demolition projects from start to finish. You prepare calculations and estimate demolition work, while also developing customer relationships and actively contributing to bringing in new assignments. It is part of the role to prepare and submit bids, as well as to plan resources such as personnel, machinery, and subcontractors to ensure efficiency in the projects. You ensure that each project is carried out according to schedule and budget, and you have overall responsibility for the work environment and safety on site. Ongoing customer contact and follow-up are a natural part of your role, and you work continuously with financial follow-up and forecasting to keep track of the project's economy.

The majority of projects are within the city limits of Stockholm, and when you are not on a project, you work from the office. You have great freedom to plan your own working days and collaborate closely with other project managers and site supervisors.

Experience & Education

• Experience as a project manager/site manager in the demolition or construction industry (within ROT)
• Knowledge of cost estimation, project planning, and business understanding
• Good knowledge of work environment regulations and safety requirements
• Leadership experience and clear communication skills
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good computer skills, especially MS Office
• Very good Swedish in both speech and writing.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with larger contracts (over 5 million SEK)
• Training in Asbestos, BAS-U & BAS-P
• Knowledge of environmental surveys and handling of hazardous waste
• Experience with procurement and contract law (AB/ABT)
• Knowledge of waste management.
