Job Responsibilities

As a warehouse worker, you will work to supply our customers with pharmaceuticals by handling and distributing incoming orders. Your tasks will include picking and packaging, receiving goods, handling inbound deliveries, and forklift operation. Some administrative tasks within the scope of warehouse operations are also included in the role.

Since the operation is new, the role requires you to be flexible, engaged, and ready to take responsibility in a changing environment where working methods are gradually being developed.

We are looking for someone who:

The operation is active Monday–Friday between 07:00–18:00. Working hours for this position vary within this time frame. Work on Sundays also occurs regularly. The location is at our warehouse in Högsbo.

Qualifications

You have a completed upper secondary education and previous experience working in a warehouse where tasks such as picking, packing, and goods receiving were recurring. You communicate fluently in Swedish and can follow written and oral work instructions, as well as engage in dialogue with customers and colleagues. Since your workday is spent in a warehouse environment, it is important that you have the physical fitness required to walk and stand for the entire workday, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks. You possess good digital competence, are computer literate, and have experience working with digital tools.

As a warehouse worker at the pharmaceutical warehouse, you are involved in and take significant responsibility for order and tidiness in the workplace. As we constantly strive to improve our service and offering to customers, we expect you to bring high efficiency and quality to your work.

About Us

The Warehouse and Distribution department, currently with 180 employees, is responsible for ensuring robust and cohesive warehousing as well as the distribution of consumables and pharmaceuticals as part of the administration's mandate for the Region of Västra Götaland and its inhabitants. The department also has overall responsibility for the administration's external transport. The department is under construction and faces a development journey regarding both personnel and organization.

At the new pharmaceutical warehouse, we will be 25–30 employees who together will run a region-wide warehouse and distribution for pharmaceuticals to the region's hospitals.
