Environmental Worker/Sweeping Driver (Ekerö)

The company assists municipalities and businesses with services within waste collection, sludge and water/sewage, recycling, transport, and contracting. About the role

At Ohlssons, we are looking for an Environmental Worker/Sweeping Driver with a Category C driving license for our waste collection contract in Ekerö. In this role, you will enjoy a varied daily routine out in the field, performing meaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future.

Your primary responsibilities will involve collecting household waste according to planned routes using our rear-loading trucks (2-compartment, 3-compartment, and 4-compartment/villa trucks). Attention to detail is crucial to ensure all bins are emptied correctly, and you must take responsibility for carrying out the work in a safe and secure manner. As an important ambassador for Ohlssons, you will interact with many customers, so a positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent service are essential.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A valid Category C driving license.
• A valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB).
• Experience as a driver; experience in the waste management industry is a plus.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written).
• Local knowledge of the region is an advantage.
