We are currently looking for a Science Teacher for grades 6–9 and a Mathematics and Science Teacher for grades 4–9. Both positions start on August 6th, 2026. For those with extensive experience and strong commitment, there is also the opportunity to step into the role of Subject Leader or Lead Teacher, which comes with a salary supplement.

International English School (IES) in Huddinge opened in 2013 and has approximately 450 students in grades 6–9. The school is located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge Municipality, an area undergoing significant transformation into a dynamic work and residential district. Our school will expand by adding grades 4 and 5 in the autumn of 2027!

IES is proud of its employees and has developed a method to create a calm and secure school environment. This allows our teachers more time to share their knowledge, both with students and colleagues. Your teaching as a Swedish pedagog takes place in Swedish, but colleagues communicate in English.

Your Role

As a Science Teacher, you will become a key figure in our students' learning. In addition to planning, teaching, assessment, and follow-up, you will also serve as a mentor and contribute to the students' personal development. You will work closely with parents, colleagues, and the student health team to create the best possible conditions for every student to succeed.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who is:

• A certified teacher with eligibility in Science and Mathematics for grades 7–9 or 4–9. Swedish teacher certification is an advantage.
• An educator who can inspire, challenge, and meet students at their level.
• A clear and secure leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure and a calm working atmosphere.
• Flexible, cooperative, and positive – you see opportunities and solutions.
• Accustomed to adapting teaching and working inclusively together with the student health team and special education teachers.
• Comfortable teaching and communicating in both Swedish and English.
