Home Care Area 3 in Mariestad is part of the elderly care services and includes the groups Ekudden and Guldvingen in the southwestern part of the city. Here, 25 employees work to provide the best possible support to our residents!

We are now looking for three assistant nurses for permanent positions and temporary assignments. Are you a positive, flexible, and responsive team player who is passionate about making a difference? Do you want a mobile job among villas, apartments, and terraced houses? Then this could be for you!

Job Responsibilities

The duties consist of personal care, delegated medical tasks such as venipuncture and extensive wound dressing changes, as well as service and daily chores. The job also involves close collaboration with planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers. The work is largely independent, but double staffing also occurs.

We work with fixed care contacts and representative assignments, where you as an employee have the opportunity to grow with the responsibility and simultaneously be part of the development of the operations.

The home care groups operate from Mariegärdes Väg 7. We work based on a 14-week schedule with day and evening shifts, and you will also work three out of seven weekends. The schedule also includes resource shifts to cover absences at other workplaces.

The positions we are looking for are three in number, both permanent positions and temporary assignments. Start date is as soon as possible according to agreement.

Qualifications

For the position, we are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and preferably have work experience from home care.

We are looking for you who are a responsive, positive, and secure person in individual meetings with users and have a good ability to work independently with care tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to good community and joy among both residents and colleagues.

You must be flexible as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues, where you are expected to be able to step in and support as needed in all three groups, also in other areas through resource shifts.

We would like you to have experience dealing with people with mental health issues. You are also expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. This is because many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and forwarding information in a correct and clear manner.

We assume that you have a certain level of digital maturity in computer and mobile usage as we use this as a work tool.

A driver's license (Category B) is required for the position.
