Department Seeking Applicants

The Security Force Department is part of the Training Unit. The department helps meet the Swedish Armed Forces' need for trained personnel within security force services. The department trains future professional officers specializing in security forces, personnel in protection and guard services, and personnel in dog services. The department is in an expansion phase, and we are now looking for new talented colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

The position of Dog Officer is varied and involves providing outward-facing support to security forces and home guard units, as well as our officer training programs, in both an educational and supportive role. The assignment includes planning, conducting, and evaluating training, as well as participating in various types of operations related to the tactical use of service dogs.

Qualifications

• Specialist Officer Degree
• Category B Driver's License
• Acceptable ability to understand and express yourself in English.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience in patrol service
• Instructor in dog services
• Training knowledge regarding service dogs
• Experience with security forces
