About the position

We are currently looking for a student with a forklift license and preferably prior experience in warehousing for our client in Malmö. You will work approximately 20 hours per week, distributed across Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As a warehouse assistant, you will support daily operations through physical work and careful handling of goods. You will work at a pace where quality takes precedence over system knowledge, and you will receive thorough training to eventually become fully independent in the role.

What we offer

We offer a stable part-time position of 20 hours per week with a fixed schedule on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The workplace is easily accessible by public transport and is located in an area with good service facilities.

Responsibilities

The role focuses on the physical flow in the warehouse, from receiving goods to picking and loading, with no requirement for administrative system work.

  • Pick goods according to orders
  • Load and unload cargo from transport vehicles
  • Restock shelves in the warehouse
  • Handle cargo using a counterbalance forklift
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a forklift license A+B (specifically for counterbalance forklifts)
  • Has basic knowledge of Swedish to understand safety instructions
  • Has the physical ability to handle manual warehouse work

It is an advantage if you have

  • Previous experience in warehousing or restocking
  • Experience working with counterbalance forklifts in tight spaces

To succeed in this role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Trustworthy
  • Stress-resistant
  • Organized
  • Responsible
  • Socially self-assured

Our recruitment process

This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client's preference is that all questions regarding the position are directed to Academic Work.

We apply rolling selection and will remove the ad when enough candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. A CV is required when applying. We do not use cover letters as a selection method, so one is not needed. As a candidate, you are primarily responsible for ensuring your application is complete when submitted. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. The tests are a tool to help find the candidate with the highest potential for the role, as well as to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.

For our part-time positions, you as an applicant must have another primary occupation of at least 50%. Examples include studies, another employment, self-employment, parental leave, or similar.
