About the Position

Responsibilities

As a Construction and Infrastructure Project Manager, you will play a central role in driving and leading the municipality's construction and infrastructure projects from idea to completion. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and follow-up of projects within areas such as buildings, sports facilities, streets, parks, water, and sewage. The role entails overall responsibility for the project's economy, timeline, and quality, as well as leading and coordinating consultants, designers, and contractors. You will work closely with colleagues, clients from other departments and operations within the city, contractors, and other actors within the city and business community.

Your main tasks will include:

• Leading investment and maintenance projects within construction and/or infrastructure.
• Being responsible for the project's economy, schedule, and quality.
• Coordinating and directing consultants, contractors, and internal resources.
• Participating in procurement processes and being knowledgeable regarding standard contracts for construction and infrastructure.
• Contributing to the development of work processes and methods within the administration.
• Working in dialogue with politicians, citizens, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineer or University Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience assessed as comparable to several years of relevant experience in the construction and/or infrastructure sector.
• A process-oriented approach with a focus on systematic methods, routines, and contract follow-up.
• Good knowledge of industry laws and standard contracts (e.g., AB 04, ABT 06, AMA) and experience driving projects of varying size and complexity.
• Ability to work in a goal- and results-oriented manner with a focus on delivery within set frameworks.
• A B driving license and very good proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written) are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with all stages of projects from early investigations to execution and handover, including both execution and total contracts.
• Experience in systematic requirement and risk management.
