Job Description

As a warehouse worker, you will work to supply our customers with medicines by handling and distributing incoming orders. Your tasks will include picking and packing, receiving goods, handling deliveries, and operating forklifts. Some administrative tasks within the scope of warehouse operations are also included in the role.

Since the operation is new, the role requires you to be flexible, engaged, and ready to take responsibility in a changing environment where working methods are gradually being developed.

We are looking for someone who:

• can work both independently and in collaboration with others

The operation runs Monday-Friday between 07:00-18:00. Working hours for the position vary within this time frame. Work on Sundays also occurs regularly. The location is at our warehouse in Högsbo.

Qualifications

You have a completed upper secondary education and previous experience working in a warehouse where tasks such as picking, packing, and receiving goods were recurring. You communicate fluently in Swedish and can follow written and oral work instructions, as well as hold dialogues with customers and colleagues. Since your workday is spent in a warehouse environment, it is important that you have the physical fitness required to walk and stand for the entire workday, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks. You possess good digital competence, are computer literate, and have experience working with digital tools.

As a warehouse worker at the pharmaceutical warehouse, you are involved in and take great responsibility for order and tidiness in the workplace. As we constantly strive to improve our service and offering to customers, we expect you to bring high efficiency and quality to your work.

About Us

The Warehouse and Distribution area, with currently 180 employees, is responsible for ensuring robust and cohesive warehousing and distribution of consumables and medicines as part of the administration's mandate for Västra Götaland Region and its inhabitants. The area also has overall responsibility for the administration's external transports. The area is under construction and faces a development journey regarding both personnel and organization.

At the new pharmaceutical warehouse, we will be 25–30 employees who together will drive a region-wide warehouse and distribution for medicines to the region's hospitals.
